Cofield is Chief Operating Officer and partner at Harmonix, where she provides strategic support for the fund and its 40+ companies.. She is a founder and business leader with 30+ years of experience in operational roles.
Cofield grew up in South Africa, and has lived in Botswana, Kenya, London and the United States. She managed and led teams of up to 45+ in various verticals, including interior lifestyle brands, import and export and the entertainment industry.
Cofield is also an accomplished recording artist who was signed to Sony and Universal Music and is an Ambassador for the 46664 Nelson Mandela Foundation.
During her career in the entertainment industry, Cofield nurtured, managed and developed talent for the global stage.
Her unique specialty is coaching, negotiating and evaluating character for assembling successful teams, which she artfully brings to her role in Venture Capital.

Anthony DeFeo

Anthony DeFeo serves as the Managing Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at Harmonix, where he spearheads strategic initiatives to drive brand awareness, investor engagement, and market growth.

DeFeo is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in the financial industry. With over 15 years of experience, he has successfully raised over $1 billion in capital throughout his career.

Before joining Harmonix, Anthony held a similar role at CKC Capital, a corporate credit-focused hedge fund. Demonstrating his versatility, Anthony also acquired valuable expertise in the healthcare sector, serving as a marketer for Orchard View Capital and Sio Capital, two prominent hedge funds renowned for their specialization in healthcare investments.

Early in his career, Anthony served as a Marketing Associate at Exis Capital. Notably, Anthony’s professional journey began at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he excelled as an Assistant Vice President Relationship Manager.

Anthony obtained his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Fordham University, where he was the President of his graduating class. Prior to his MBA, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Italian language from New York University. In his free time, Anthony enjoys golf, running, baseball, and spending time with his family.

Throughout her career, she has supported C-suite leaders in industries ranging from finance to tech, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. Her proactive approach allows her to anticipate needs, streamline processes, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the executive team. Melanie is also skilled in project management, event planning, and cross-departmental coordination. She is passionate about fostering strong relationships, both internally and externally, and is committed to driving positive outcomes through effective communication and collaboration
